Yvette Landry was one of several Louisiana musicians recognized and presented a trophy by Lt. Gov. Jay Dardenne for her work as a Musical Ambassador to Louisiana.  The year long program sponsored by Louisiana Office of Tourism selected several Louisiana musicians to act as ambassadors as they traveled throughout the country educating the masses about Louisiana music and culture.
