Congratulations go out to Yvette Landry, who recently received recognition as the Cajun French Music Association’s 2015, “Female Vocalist of the Year” award.

The Cajun French Music Association was established to promote and preserve, not only Cajun music, but also various aspects of the Acadian Heritage.  Each year, the Le Cajun Award and Festival is held to recognize “Band of the Year,” “Accordionist of the Year,” “Fiddler of the Year,” “Male and Female Vocalist,” “Song,” and “Best Recording of the Year.”
